The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ekiti Conference, is set to hold a 14-day mega evangelistic crusade, “EKITI FOR CHRIST,” in Ado-Ekiti, with the theme, “FAITH ON FIRE”
The crusade, scheduled for October 25 to November 7, 2026, will take place at the Fajuyi Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
According to a press release issued by the Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Elder S.O.Ogunmola, renowned evangelist Dr. Dion Henry will minister throughout the 14-day programme, which is expected to focus on salvation, healing, spiritual revival and hope.
Speaking on the preparations for the crusade, a member of the church and Chartered Librarian, Elder Ayo Arogundade, CLN, described the programme as a divinely orchestrated effort aimed at bringing spiritual renewal to Ekiti State.
Elder Arogundade, who is also a Public Affairs Analyst, said the theme of the crusade was particularly relevant at a time when many people were losing hope.
“Ekiti for Christ is not just a crusade; it is a movement. We want the whole of Ekiti to come to the knowledge of Christ. Our faith must be on fire for God. We are inviting everyone in Ado-Ekiti and beyond, irrespective of denomination, to come and experience God,” he said.
He further urged residents to prepare their hearts for the programme, expressing confidence that the crusade would bring positive spiritual transformation to the state.
The crusade is also expected to attract the presence of key leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, including the President of the Ekiti Conference, Pastor Rufus Atoki, and members of the Conference Executive Committee. Leaders of the Western Nigeria Union Conference (WNUC) are also expected to be in attendance during the programme.
The Church is inviting residents of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and neighbouring States, irrespective of denominational affiliation, to participate in the programme as the church seeks to proclaim its message of faith, hope and spiritual renewal.
